Petra Treasury seen through its sandstone canyon
05 Nov 2026 / Devblog #1 / Weekly recap

Petra takes shape.

A more focused level, a tougher encounter, buggy prototypes and an arsenal kept intact. A look at the work from 30 October to 5 November.

Early development view of Petra's carved stone facade between canyon walls
05 Nov 2026 / Environment / First look

Ancient stone.
A very different kind of workday.

Petra brings carved facades, narrow canyon walls and warm sandstone into the game's visual identity. This early exterior view offers a first look at the setting without giving away what lies deeper inside.

Read the development note

This blog begins with a snapshot of the project: a Petra-inspired environment, an unusual cast of enemies, a growing arsenal and an open-frame buggy. The exterior shown here is an earlier development reference, rather than a claim about the latest finished level.

The cover takes those ingredients in a deliberately exaggerated direction: an IT technician still on a support call while everything around him goes wrong. It is concept artwork, separate from the actual game images below.

Future entries will focus on meaningful changes and selected screenshots. The name and release date are still undecided.

Round red demon with yellow horns, a cigar and a metal pipe
05 Nov 2026 / Characters / First look

Meet the unreasonable company.

A pipe-carrying demon, a skeleton, a baby with a rotor pack and a devil on a mobility scooter. The enemy cast has a particular sense of humour.

Read the character note

These model previews show the cast's distinctive silhouettes: heavy brows and a round red body for the demon; thin ivory bones for the skeleton; a rotor mast and green backpack for the flying baby; a blue mobility scooter for the larger devil.

They also serve as references for the cover artwork. The painting changes the medium, while retaining the details that make each character recognisable.

KS-23 shotgun in first person during an early development build
05 Nov 2026 / Arsenal & vehicles / First look

A shotgun. A buggy. A bad idea.

A first-person look at the KS-23 and a glimpse of the open-frame buggy. Two more pieces of the game's developing identity.

Read the equipment note

The KS-23 screenshot is from an earlier development build. Its dark metal and wooden fore-end give it a strong, readable first-person profile.

The buggy preview shows exposed framing, a tall roll cage and chunky tyres. You can inspect it in the gallery, alongside the weapon and character references.

These are development previews. Appearance and behaviour may change before release.

The game

ORDINARY GUY.
EXTRAORDINARY
PROBLEMS.

An independent first-person shooter with retro visuals and a cast that refuses to behave.

This is the public development journal for an as-yet unnamed Godot FPS. Follow its environments, weapons, vehicles and oddball enemies as the project develops.

The artwork sets the mood. The screenshots and model previews show the work behind it. More will be shared as development continues.
